Our expertise have earned us the reputation of being one of the best and most experienced out there. We are proud of this accolade and strive to constantly maintain and exceed our client's expectations. Through conservation works we aim to prolong the life and integrity of architectural character and we are committed to preserving the built history of our country. We have extensive experience in a wide variety of settings including universities, public buildings, churches and private homes. We have accepted contracts of only a few weeks in duration, others have lasted up to two years.
With our vast experience we are able to provide our clients with archaeological assessment and restorative advice on buildings in any condition. We have worked on nineteenth and twentieth century homesteads, stables and buildings of great historical significance providing stabilisation works, detailed and delicate conservation and in many cases we have been enlisted to complete a full restoration.
In our joinery workshop we produce superb quality, long-lasting workmanship and work closely with our clients offering expert advice. By using appropriate high quality timbers and exceptionally durable old-fashioned mortise and tenon joinery we are able to create and restore beautiful pieces of furniture, windows and doors. We use authentic shellac and beeswax finishing techniques, often the most appropriate finish for early joinery pieces.
Through our consultancy service we offer expert advice on building projects which require either conservation, restoration, adaptive re-use or contemporary design input (planning). We will put in place and manage a programmed schedule of works which will see the project completed to agreed quality specifications, on time and to costs.
